Hello, I've been an Ultima fan since I was a little kid (Though I've still yet to beat one) and it has been about 20 years since I played Ultima 7.

Keep in mind that I more or less mastered the controls for 6, but playing 7 today feels like the controls are all over the place. As I can't pick up, or examine items unless I bring up my character stat/inventory menu. Or else I'm stuck on walk arrows... it would be much easier, if I could use the mouse to walk AND pick up things without switching to the menu.

I know I'm missing some key command or something. As when I was a kid, I had no issues with this game's controls at all.

EDIT: Actually please never mind this post. I just started playing again. And I left clicked on an item, it described what it was and picked it up. HOW DID I MISS THAT!?

Thats fine! The cool thing about 7 is that, like Baldur's Gate, you can basically control the whole game using your mouse!

Yep, but the really weird thing is I tried everything before, including left-click. Only to put up this post, try it again and it worked, making me look like a moron ^^;
