Played all the games in the book 1001 Games to Play Before you Die.

Now I have heard about this franchise before. It was one of the most influential video games of all time, It was the inspiration to
Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest (Dragon Warrior for those who had an NES).

FF and DQ are still going strong, with new entries coming out in the near future.

As for this series and Wizardry? Dead. EA ruined this franchise and killed Origin Systems.

A fate worse than death.

Wizardry is still going in Japan, with many spinoffs.

It hasn't had a release in a while in Japan, and the major ones over there have come over here on Steam (Labyrinth of Lost Souls comes to mind for example)

A new mobile game however is due in 2023 and it will be released worldwide not just in Japan, called Wizardry Variants Daphne
