I'm getting different file size error between UW1.exe and the UW1.hack!

That leaves me with nothing to fix!

The patch only works on one version of the game, the one distributed by GOG, with no other patches or modifications applied. If that is the case, the executable should be the expected size.. what size is your UW1.exe file?

I got passed that by using the web version. But now I have a problem with no logic. I activate the regfile for virtual store and it does not populate the registry, despite the message saying the data had been added. This I have never come across before. I know the regfile is okay as no one else has the problem. Based on not having the virtual store data in the registry, the game asks for the CD drive, but then doesn't allow any to work. At this point I gave up. Will play my other games instead, and give up on this one.

And how does someone download this and install this?
I don't see download anywhere on the page.

Unarchive the game.gog folder, patch the executables, then re-create the ISO and copy over your game.gog file.
