Over on steam there is several threads requesting a reply from the devs or PlayWay. None have been answered there’s no comments, no nothing from Nihlisk and no updates to the game for 2 months now.
I have the game on steam. Regardless of corona, the whole company is still trading and working on other products like CMS, Gold Rush et. The fact that they disrespect communication, while still selling the game, is a warning sign if ever there was one. You have been warned that there is clear trust issues afoot.

I would bet that they have silently given up on UBOAT. It is still buggy and unfinished. They started out great, had some cool ideas. Some of them are implemented but the game overall is still nowhere near Silent Hunter levels of good. The release of their newest uboat... i mean drug dealer simulator surely shows the direction they are taking, which is realistic uboat simulation ;). Cheers

Well talk of the devil. A PlayWay dev has come on the forum -not a dev from the game, stating that they are releasing an unstable patch for testing. Of course all the forum 'luvvies' are sucking up! But no Nilhisk etc that i have seen answering. Yeah 'Drug Dealer'. Pathetic eh... SH is the king and always will be, this is The Sims on a sub. The more you play it, the more you find holes in it. Like the Mechanic OCD pulling out torps to reheat whether it's in the port or not. Or the Capt always going to the conning tower -in harbour, or the crew never regaing energy after missions -despite time skipping several days when reloading supplies. You always have to request R&R. So on and so on...

Still, it's got me back into my SH3/4 and even modded 5

Excuse me, The DEV's have STILL not surfaced a PLAYWAY PUBLISHER has! He ISN'T associated with the game. He came on to SELL and PROMOTE Drug Dealer Simulation and 912 *nothing* to do with UBoat isn't it? Thank you. He was pushed into answering about UBoat but had no intention of putting news up about it. You guys are soooo gullable. You believe everything you read on social media on your phones. I bet your one that thinks 5G started Corona.... MORE time! 2 MONTHS without a word and STILL no word. form a DEV.

Ever heard of continue selling and not telling your staff that they are getting fired within 6hrs? There's NOTHING stopping the publisher pulling in money for a half-baked product, that financially, wont or can't be finished.

The game is a nightmare of bugs and garbage one trick Sunderland's and some ships. The modders have made a BETTER game of it, but i didn't pay for a modder to do that. So unless you do work on UBoat, stop acting like you know everything. For all you know PlayWay have taken the half finished patch, cause the dev's have bailed, and are trying to just get it out the door to placate people. Too many underhand tactics these days. Trust is sorely lacking and this does DW NO favours.

Somebody made a statement somewhere, game abandoned, you take that up and believe it. While there is a new unstable patch on steam (B127) with new features added to the game, new ships and planes. This is explained @subsim, might want to read up on it. Before you call other people sheep contrary to the facts that expose your statement for what it is, bs.

Oh and furthermore you are nothing but a customer, I am more than happy that people actually work on the product instead of explaining everything and asking for permission from someone on the internet. You are not part of the company nor am I.

I am using the unstabel patch. If you look at the date of my post the devs had been absent for 3 months! It's terrific posting back on a post that's old now, isn't it...g

This game is FAR from being abandon by the dev team. B129 hotfix 13 or 14 was just recently released. Yes, B129 is in the unstable category atm, but it wont be for much longer.
