I cannot believe there are no manual to the game ? I have looked through my gog version folders and found nothing. For me this is a game breaker. I wan´t to know the mechanics before starting up and shouldn´t have to rely on third party game guides. Have I missed something ?

The manual is in the game. Open up the journal and check the 'Encyclopedia' section. Everything is explained there.

But that's annoying. I for one like to print things rather than read on screen. Also, I like to think about strategies/builds while away from the computer. I guess I am old-fashioned, but I am sure I am not the only one who feels that way.
