Hi,
I love oldschool isometric RPGs and Pillars of eternity was one from my favourite ones. So I would really like to try Tyrrany. But I have got a problem - I am a pathologicaly good-natured man in my plays.:-) My character was always a helpful and noble hero and I am a little bit afraid of playing a game, that is based on the cruelty and evil. So is there a possibility how to be at least a little bit good? Are there choices, that aren't "so evil"? Or should I avoid this game, if I don't like being evil?
Thanks
Ondrej

You can choose what role you played in the invasion in Conquest Mode at the beginning of the game. You have to fight for Kyros, but you don't have to be a brutal psychotic. Minor spoiler: You can gain a reputation as a peacemaker if you choose to go to Apex during Conquest Mode and negotiate a surrender.

You can join the rebels against Kyros in the first act if you allow them to flee every time when presented with the choice.

There are four paths through the game:

- Disfavored (Lawful Evil)
- Scarlet Chorus (Chaotic Evil)
- Independent (more-or-less Neutral Evil, or maybe Chaotic Neutral)
- Rebel (trying to be a good guy)

You'll go to the same places and participate in the same events on each path, but your goals and situation depend on your alliance. Another minor spoiler: If you take the Rebel path, I think you'll need to make sure you have 60+ Lore before going to Stalwart in the second act to avoid having to do something evil.

I enjoyed the game, especially the Disfavored and Scarlet Chorus and the lore about magic and the Archons, but the second and third act seem rushed, with fewer choices and more railroading than the first act. It's good, but it might not be worth the current price.
OK, thanks. I think I will give it a try. Rebel path doesn't seem too bad to me.
