The Mac version (which there is one, I was shocked) does not work. At all. Says it installs and everything, but when you go to launch it, nothing happens. I mean nothing at all, even GoG Galaxy thinks I've played it when I have not. It cannot be ported via the usual methods, I've tried. (Gothic II, also purchased from GoG ported over just fine, as did Legacy of Kain: Defiance and Soul Reaver 2.) Two Worlds does not work, does not install properly by any means, will not launch. Can this be fixed? (MacOS 10.15.5 Catalina)

Per the game's store page:

"Mac notice: The game is 32-bit only and will not work on macOS 10.15 and up."

This is, unfortunately, a pretty common problem.
Apple dropped all support for all 32-bit applications with the Catalina release.

There's been more than a bit of hacking going on in the Wine community, primarily over at CodeWeavers, to bring back 32-bit support for popular Windows applications via Wine/CrossOver on macOS Catalina, so if you happen to be a CrossOver user, that might be an option.
Hello there, I recently purchased Two Worlds Epic Edition and installed it on MacOS 10.14.6 Mojave (which DOES support 32-bit applications), and I am having the exact same issues the OP described: it installs, but nothing whatsoever happens when I click its icon in the Applications folder to launch it.

Nothing happens at all; there's not even a flicker of the game's icon in the dock.

Tried running it with administrator privileges as well, and also tried moving the app to my Home folder.

Anyone have any suggestions?
