This is not a complaint just a note in passing so to speak. It would appear to me that TW, TW Epic, and TW2 all use a variation of the same plot used in TW. It kind of reminds me of the ROTK series by Koei. By the time finished TW 2 in my first play through the ending struck me as being a bit off the wall and all I could do was laugh to myself.
I played it on Steam which might be the cause of most of the play problems. I did find that there were quests I just missed and some were broken or done out of order but over all it was a positive experience. I did not like the way each section had a boss battle you had to win to advance the main quest.
Fir example I missed several quests before getting to the Tower of fangs battle and my level 25 fighter just died no matter what I did. I then swam and used potions to get to the island where the University was and did most of the quests then went back to the tower and won that battle then back to the Prophet which landed me in the swamp with another boss battle which I only won by using my bow at a range that the demon did not chase me.
This time through I will be better prepared and have a place to ask questions when I get stuck.
