I have a macbook (10.9) and up until recently i had Tropico 3 running perfectly fine under PlayOnMac.

Now i had to reinstall it and now have to reenter my serial. But if i enter the serial given on my game-page, the game tells me it's wrong. I tried both entering with '-' and without, via copy&paste and entering manually, without success.

I also tried opening a support ticket, but it requires a system-profiler report and somehow the upload dialog doesn't work for me (i select the file and it still shows no file selected). So that's why i opened this topic.

Edit:
I already found a solution. Deactivating internet seemed to do the trick. After entering the serial, the game accepted it. And even after switching the internet back on, no issues with playing.

I would like to add that this did not work for me in the slightest, and can't get the game to work in the slightest.
