The game is not visibly censored, but things have been stripped out, partially to the point where you're left wondering how some game mechanics are supposed to work.

You will need to install the official patch to make any sense of this game.
Initially when downloading the game from GOG most of the adult content is blocked out and (much worse) many dialogs are completely missing and only showing a number instead. The help/guide option does not show any text, the effects of chosen titles are not displayed and Claire also does not show any hints when talking to herself.

Furthermore with the "proposition" elements removed, Claire collects only 5 essence per attempt in this cut down version while in the uncensored version she collects 100-200 per attempt, basically making any improvement via 'essence' 20 times harder.

Do yourself a favor and install the patch from the official website - it adds missing translations and unlocks everything.

They seem to have added the unrated DLC patch to most of their games on GoG. Now its just in the store page of the game as a Free DLC.
