Sorry, but the graphics of the original game have much more charm than the ones of the remake. I wouldn't pay money for the new version.
I love TAG and I make it a point to spread word of its awesome existence every chance I get. I already bought the soundtrack and I am going to buy this upcoming game to show my support for the developers.
All I ask is that it will allow me to use the controller with no slowdown. If it can meet those requirements, then great! Especially considering that I can't even finish the original due to all of the glitches.

That's my opinion, too.
All I know is that this one isn't working for me.
Ugh.. another "modern" remake of a game that was already visually perfect. If they wanted to offer up a 1.34 or Version 2 of this game with bugfixes and so forth, I'd be willing to pay them $3 for it?

I love the game and all, but I'm not made of money. Wasn't buying the soundtrack support enough? I don't like the new look at all, and it'd probably run really badly on my crap computer. I loved that the original ran perfectly. Save for the crash every time I go to quit.
I really like the original game's graphics, but I think the remake would make it easier for several of my friends to play. They didn't grow up in the day where those graphics were in their prime, so for them this style is very difficult to get past. The updated graphics would make it easier for them to get into. For myself, though, I much prefer the original graphics.
I'm following it for a while now. It's nice to see that this game receives a much-deserved facelift. The original graphics _did_ look pretty charming for their low resolution, but the new ones look much better. Also, hopefully, the new engine will allow proper fullscreen mode, and solve the timing problems on some machines.
A demo of the game is available to download. You can get it here:
