Does anyone else experince the same?

It seems the linux-version got shipped with some broken textures.
If the "res/" directory from the windows-version is used, the game works fine.

I don't have this issue on 31921 Linux version.

Yes there seems to be an issue with the current setup files for Linux. We are working on a fix for that, but it might take some time until they are available to download.

My Game crashes after getting to the year 1990. I don't know if this is the same problem.

We are sorry for the inconvenience. Can you provide us more information about the crash, e.g. the crash message? Then we can have a look at it in detail :)

Is there a chance to become a working version anytime soon?

Unfortunately I don't have much more Information about this Problem. After reaching the 90s ingame or trying to start a new game at that date(or later) the game stops and a small message frame apears centered on the screen. I don't remember the exact message because I installed a backup of the december version to avoid this problem, but it was something like "An internal Error ocurred" or something like that. There was also no more info inside the logfile.

How is it with the actual version?

I just noticed the new Version and reinstalled the Game (I also removed the games userdata).
It is working!
I created a new map and can play in modern times again.
I really like this community btw.


A little bit of tobic but I saw the name matthias.guertler a few days ago while playing a openttd game using the DACH package. If you are the some person: Nice done for this one, too.
