I found out some time ago that I can easily play Stronghold: Crusader with a lot of players through Gamespy Arcade. Is there a similiar program for Total Annihilation? I know it's old, but I hope there is active community somwhere out there.
I would also like to know this. I have been playing this game since day one back in 1997.
Voobly or Gameranger.
AAHH IV NEVER BEEN ON ONLINE MULTI PLAYER BEFORE AAHHHH~!~

Warzone is a free program that lets you do multiplayer matching for TA and its mods.

As it says there:

To get started, simply download and install the WarZone Client, create a user name and password on its Login screen, and connect to the lobby of your choice.
There's a fair amount of original Total Annihilation players there looking for games.

Also, some people use MSN/Windows Messenger to co-ordinate (Ask for games and get the IP of the hosting player), such as described for the TA: Twilight mod here:

You'll actually find far more Stronghold: Crusader players on GameRanger. That's where everyone plays it now.

Total Annihilation is also played on GameRanger, and the Escalation mod is especially popular.
Escalation is a fantastic mod. Tthere are a fair number of TA players that frequent GameRanger, though we could always use more.

If you look at the features on the store page here, it mentions "Extensive multiplayer and internet support" and goes on to say teams can share los, units and resources.

Wth?

Is gamersgate selling a different version of the game than GOG or Impulse?

If they have online multiplayer built into their release I might have to buy this game yet again.
