my problem is i get a error message (Environment Initialization Failed) it also asks me to check my direct x

could you posably tell me how to fix this error

i am using windows vista home premium 32bit edishion

I'm having a similar problem, I'm getting the same error. My setup is really weird. Macbook Air 13" 2011, Windows 8 in virtual box. I've tried everything I can think of. Anyone have a suggestion?
