Hi,

I'm still cruising through this game, and really enjoying it. In retrospect, I see I made a few less-than-optimal choices, but I'm having a good time.

I'm in the bloom, currently, in the "stomach" area, and I noticed that for the last several fights, I have not been getting any XP. This is big problem, because I now have two characters in the party I haven't used since the opening of the game, and they are horribly under-powered.

Is this bug? Or is this normal? Perhaps I just didn't notice because I kept the same party for so long, and we all leveled together...

If it is a bug... I'll wait for fix... if it is just coincidence that my last 4 or 5 encounters yielded no xp... I'll weather it.... if I find I'm capped somehow, and the whole party suffers because of it... well... that would seriously sully the game for me. I'd just like to know before I proceed much further.

My lower leveled party members got exp just fine in the Bloom. I wish they leveled when they were not active in the party, it SOOO much more convienent.

Holy Cow, are we supposed to get XP for fights? I have not gained any XP for any fight so far. I thought it was just the developers' way of encouraging non-violent problem resolution.

As far as I remember. No.

There are not XP per crisis. You got an XP for solving the quest (dialogue or crisis) but not for defeating enemies. Or at least that happened to me in the Bloom where I choice to fight more than before.

By the way, I reach the end of the game with two Tier 2 companions. Don't worry, just grab powerful artifacts.
Also, the next chapter after the Bloom give XP as crazy. So, is your chance to level up your party.

Yes, I made it through just fine even with two lowbies in the group.

It is true that you may not necessarily get xp from each crisis...but there usually was something doled out that corresponded with one... but the fact is, I was much closer to the end of the game than I thought -- and it didn't really matter much.
