I don't think it has ever been available on GOG.

Hmm... You may be right. My Linux Installer may have come from Humble Bundle.

Just Windows and Mac .

I run Linux, and I downloaded a .sh file from here, marked it as executable and ran it from an xterm. Worked just fine.
