So I got TR1 today and started the game. I want to play it with my gamepad but it seems I can't set it up right. My analog stick works so i can move around in the menu but when I try to set it up it won't recognize my shoulder buttons and my start, select buttons. The only buttons I can set up are the 4 action buttons on the right side. I'm using a Hama Blackforce (a cheap ps 2 knockoff). I'm sure other people have had this problem so can someone please help me out with this?
thank you

I have this issue as well.

Neither my 360 controller nor my rumblepad seems to be able to set up correctly.

Some help on this would be much appreciated.
It's a DOS game, it only supports 4 buttons.

If you want to use more you'll need to use a mapper like joy2key or xpadder and just map the buttons to the defaults. This works flawlessly for a DS3 gamepad
I use Pinnacle, you have to pay for it, but it's really great software. I have it set up with my xbox 360 pad and it works brilliantly for TR1
