Whenever i quit out of the game back into windows, my icons on the desktop are moved. It must be something to do with the resolution change.

Yep.
Happens to me all the time.
I just installed Windows Fences (free), and created fences for my icons, and they all go back to normal now.

Wow. Theres a program for everything these days. As i'm playing the tomb raider games on my spare pc, it doesn't matter too much. I will just have to re-arrange my icons once i've completed the series, lol.
