If anyone has a PDF of this game’s strategy guide, I would love nothing more than to download it for myself so I can play this game correctly the old fashioned way.

The strategy guide probably does exist, but it sure is rare to come by. No one's uploaded one to Internet Archive and a look on Ebay doesn't turn up one.
The best thing we got is this walkthrough, posted on Gameboomers. It's pretty through, from what I recall:
