Been playing as a storm caster and because of the new cam distance I can destroy enemies far behind solid walls and even kill bosses without entering the room they are in.

So this is not the camera distance, but the spell distance. Camera is good.

Nothing to do with the camera, you could always do this with Squall and Plague. Comes in very handy at times.
