Here you have all changes in those versions of the game.
******************************************************************************
*
* Throne Of Darkness - Patch 1 (Version v1.1.10)
*
******************************************************************************
Fixes:
1. In a dedicated server, all levels are reset once all players have left the game.
2. WON Game browser now scrolls properly.
3. Timeout errors when joining chat rooms have been fixed.
4. Games (both client and server) can now be run from behind firewalls.
Improvements include:
- Clients behind firewalls can more reliably join games.
- Games can now be served from behind a firewall. In order to do this you must:
1. Open up the server port on the firewall (default port is 63078)
2. Close Throne Of Darkness. This is important.
3. Add the following line (including quotes) to Config\Throne.cfg.
seta "LocalIPAddress" "<IP_ADDRESS>"
Substitute your IP Address (e.g., 201.5.98.33) for <IP_ADDRESS> for example:
seta "LocalIPAddress" "201.5.98.33"
We are working on a solution that will obviate the need for these steps so that
local IP Addresses are handled correctly (and automatically). This will be
available in a future patch.
5. Timeouts while joining games should be much more infrequent.
6. Performance has been improved for games running over a modem.
7. Added support for machines with multiple network connections (e.g., LAN and Modem).
Feature Changes:
1. There is now a separate dedicated server executable, ThroneDedicatedServer.exe.
This executable does not require the Throne of Darkness CD to be in the CD drive;
however, there is no graphical interface when creating games. All game
configurations are specified in a file that is passed as a command line parameter.
Please note, that a Dedicated Server may also be created with Throne.exe. However,
if that executable is used, the game CD must be in the CD drive.
The following are the Dedicated Server files that have been provided:
- ThroneDedicatedServer.exe
- DedicatedServer.cfg
- DedicatedServer.bat
- README-DedicatedServer.txt
Please see README-DedicatedServer.txt for more information.
******************************************************************************
*
* Throne Of Darkness - Patch 2 (Version v1.2.18)
*
******************************************************************************
Fixes:
1. The "@" key works when using the UK keyboard layout.
2. Games served from behind a firewall do not need to set the
"LocalIPAddress" variable; this variable is no longer used. However, the
server port (default: 63078) must still be opened (see Patch 1 Bug fix
section).
3. Fixed the case where the entire clan was (infrequently) teleported back
to the shrine room even though not all samurai were dead.
4. Having health leech and reflection at the same time no longer prevent
the samurai from dying.
5. If a samurai's vitality has been modified, health points are no longer
increased when the game is reloaded.
6. In a dedicated server, the monsters' difficulty level is increased in each
wilderness; this behavior is now consistent with non-dedicated servers.
7. Starting a new game, saving, then quick loading, no longer causes a
blank screen.
8. The spell list is now updated when commander is switched in Daimyo
interface.
9. Quest notification button does not come up if quest window is already open.
10. Shift+Tab moves to the previous text entry field.
11. Game does not crash when playing Online if the DB server is unavailable.
Feature Changes:
1. Added tooltips to show the names of enemy samurai in Multiplayer and Online
games. The names are shown using samurai's clan color and are displayed only
when tooltips are enabled ("ALT" key).
2. The Click Logo can now be interrupted (with mouse or space bar).
3. A new weapon (Chil-ji-do) has been added.
4. Moved the 'Level Up' notification button so it doesn't overlap 'Page 1'
button in the teleport interface
5. Enhanced key binding; bindings may be changed to almost any key. Existing
key bindings, if different than the defaults, are not valid. See the 'bind'
section of Config\Throne.cfg.
******************************************************************************
*
* Throne Of Darkness - Patch 3 Beta (Version v1.3.2)
*
******************************************************************************
Feature Changes:
1. Two new options are available in Multiplayer mode: Quests and Coop. Quests enable the single-player strategic and personal quests. Coop prevents player killing, and is mandatory for Quests.
2. Map scrolling. Use the arrows on the numpad to scroll the mini-map. The center button on the numpad centers the map. In order for these keybindings to take effect, you will need to either delete your Throne.cfg file, or delete the keybinding section.
3. Item function shortcuts are available in the inventory interface. Right-click on an item to view the function menu. Repairing an item no longer takes time.
4. Different character faces for different clans are back. Enjoy.
5. Maximum of 35 players in multiplayer is enabled. You'll need to delete your Throne.cfg to enable this. When you create a multiplayer game, the interface still defaults to 8, but you can type in a number up to 35.
Known Bugs:
1. Levels of difficulty are available on the Multiplayer game menu, but do not work yet. Choose "Easy" mode only.
2. In some quests, multiple instances of the same NPC will appear.
