When preparing for emergencies I always build 2 of the treatment rooms required for the emergency, however the patients always stand in queue at one of the rooms. Is there any way of solving this?

Just click on the door of that room and drag the patient into the other treatment room...

You can change max patients on a queue too. I mostly change all rooms to three. That way, when a fourth patient comes in, it goes to the next room. If you have more patients that the max queue for all rooms, they go to whatever one they want, so it works wonderfully well.
