Is there a manual for Thea: The Awakening?? If not how do you learn the game? Does the game contain a tutorial?

There is a tutorial. I'm unaware of a manual, but I don't recall looking for one either. The only online resources I've looked for are crafting recipes, and they are out there.

One hint: there's a tutorial dungeon you are sent to. To complete the mission, keep exploring it till it tells you you are done, and it disappears from the map.

I've probably played it 50 times or so, at this point, and I always opt for the tutorial. It gives you something to keep busy with in the beginning. And it does reward you with experience and research and a bit of resources.
