If you liked the first Thea, the second one might disappoint you!

When I started the game, I was slightly annoyed right the way. I hoped that the devs learned something from Thea - The Awakening and would hire a human-machine-interaction expert to make a better GUI, but no. The GUI is actually worse than in the first game (in case of the crafting and cooking menu you might want to strike the "G" from GUI, hej, the 90s called, they want their interface back!). And, basic features are not implemented yet: there is no zoom, it is hard to see anything on the mini map, there are few tool tips, too few input short cuts, and good luck finding your own group again, if it is out of sight. The card game is even more weird than before. The game uses unreasonable processor time. There are typos that could have been avoided by using a text editor with basic spell check. There are "endless turns" (with their "iron man" policy this game has to be stable) . And, of course, the bug report function does not work.

Imho this game was rushed and it shows. On the one hand, as a fan of the first thea I really hope this does not break MuHa's neck. On the other hand, selling a game in this state is impolite.

I would have said that at release, but they're patching it the good way, even it appears slow.
I mean, you're quite right, but a little too hard.

However, even perfectly patched, I don't like the combat system, now too much conceptual, I don't find it fun and now NEVER use the manual combat (in Thea1 I liked it, always using it).

Too, I understand what the devs wanted to make, but I liked better the Thea1 bonus system from god, even it was more basic: in Thea2 it seems even more grinding, for few points which often change almost nothing, or what is interesting is only the end game bonus and you have to make so much grinding games before reaching it. I want to play elves, it was far more easy in Thea1. It needs balance, making it easier to have points, or more interesting bonus with the few we reach.

I don't say in the end it will still be always inferior to Thea1; Thea2 can be at now last some good since last patch, even some may still prefer Thea1.

Is it possible, that the offline version was never updated?
If I look via Galaxy, it seems it is still the release version.
The online version is different and I think I noticed it change sometimes.

Maybe not never, but 2 last patches seem missing. Offline games are usually two weeks behind Galaxy's.

Thank you for your reply. I can wait for those missing patches a bit longer. My backlog is very big :-).

Even, I had hit the bad button and had to fight manually a battle. I was "Ho no! make it easy". I was released it was a level one battle, and still had no fun and made me think that really I far prefer the Thea1 battles.
Sorry insisting.

With last patch at last I may prefer Thea2, even I still don't use its battles (so I use the Easy autobattle option, it's like I had made them manually).
Still, the UI needs some futher improvements, such like keeping our choices as default (it's boring, keeping choosing each time our same choices that the game has forgot).
