Really interested in the game and would like to know if its possible for to play the multiplayer & co-op on one pc and if so can we play each with a gamepad?

there is no local sadly..but online matchmaking is present but to be fare I cant recommend this game for multiplayer because you can disconnected from the game with no reason. I dont know why did thay bother for beta to be sure

I think Hot Seat means you can switch off for each player's turn on a single computer/tablet

There is local multiplayer. You can play with multiple people on 1 computer if you play offline. Unfortunately, there is no LAN.
