I backup my Witcher 3 installation as installed folder.

Now i want to upgrade from 1.11 to 1.12 but get the error game not found.

What i have to add to registry that the update recognize my folder?

You could try to repair the game with GOG Galaxy. If this fails the easiest way would be to reinstall the game. For GOG games it is less troublesome if you backup the installers and not the installed game folders. This works well with Steam (on first startup Steam will fix missing files).
So perhaps GOG Galaxy can offer the same fixing. Good luck!

If i import the folder into GOG Galaxy it want to download the whole game again.
But i search the registry about "The Witcher 3" and found the location where i installed before.
I copy my files there and the update recognize the game.
