Since patch 1.06 has been crashing to the desktop every 5 to 10 minutes I tried all of the fixes suggested then just for the hell of it I changed to windowed mode. Haven't had the problem since and the odd thing is it's still full screen. I'm running 2 AMD 7770's in crossfire mode.
