But really!

Why did CDPR Lied that they are PC centric?
Why coudln't they programmers add Movement keys as rebindable keys to options(.ini shitting did not work for me)?
Why can't they add it now?
Why are they focusing on graphics whores raging on downgrade instead of focusing on dissapointed fans?
WHY?
Why so much angst?
Mom! They didn't add key mapping!
I like my Ultra settings, so if i am a graphic wh**e than you mustbe the key wh**e... and altering the ini might be better then shitting it..

You can't be serious opening this post, aren't you ?

With your "politeness" they'll certainly add it just in this moment, just for you .

MMarci, i have the same image in my head. Big up!

Calm down fanboy!
It is 2015, and we are talking about a game made by team, who said they are PC centric!
Key mapping is a basic thing today.

I think they are telling the truth about themselves. But the market is different - too many dolts using consoles.
It would be stupid to forgo all that money in this. So they cater for the Consoleros. This allows them to make better games (and make a decent living).

I have a very hard time to justify that, being unable to play the game so far because some movements just don't work, no matter how much I edit the keybindings file.

What I could understand would be this - just a speculation:
- They had lots of things to do, lots of pressure, so some things went on lower priority. Seeing that the game reviewers use Controllers, they made Controllers a higher priority. In the last hurry towards release, keyboard support was postponed.
- right now, the first few days after release, it is important to fix some things really quick. Again, priorities - it's important there are not too many reports and reviews talking about crashes or gfx bugs. It's what the reviewers care most about for some reason; so CDPR has to work on this first.
- After the initial big wave, there is still time to fix all the other issues.

If all of the above were the case, there is still one thing I have a problem with:
They need to talk to us players, giving us an explicit promise to the fix keyboard binding issues.

JackStillAlive: Why are they focusing on graphics whores raging on downgrade instead of focusing on dissapointed fans?
WHY?
Because some of those "graphics whores" having a large impact on their business with their reviews.
That's unfortunate, but understandable.

The thing is we need to know they will care about their fans later.

Well, I just hope that they will add the ability to fully rebind every single key to anything.
And so far, they does not havy so much to fix.
Only the rebinding, and just a small optimization, but it is great so far, but there are many FPS drops
well iam tehn one of those graphic whores, you call yourself a fan because u dont care about the graphics ?
i have teh books and both games even watched the crappy movie couple times .i get mad if a pc game has to be optimized for a fucking potatoe .
the controlls are fine , get used to it . teh only thing bugging me is the 2 potion slots , rather odd to go to the inv all the time to swap stuff arround .

im sure they will fix that , there is a gigantic patch comming fixing over 600 things , im pretty confident that they fix the keybinding sooner or later.

Well, I for one: yes. I don't care too much about the graphics - the story is the foremost thing, atmosphere, and being truthful to the characters. Then playabiliy; even some crappy looking games can be great fun if they work as a game. Game mechanics, controls, plots+missions+monsters+maps... If these parts work, everything after that is mostly cosmetics.

If you are really that much of a fan to watch the movie several times, watch the series instead. It's still no GoT, but IMHO much better than the movie hodgepodge they cut parts of it into.
