I can't install the Finishing Moves and Ciri's New Look DLC. Not sure where I went wrong, but the story is thus:

--Used the GOG installer to download the 1.07 patch. Tried to install it, but it hung up and did not finish. Stopped the install and tried again and got the "This patch does not support your version of the game, please download a new installer".
--Well, I think, I guess I will have to figure this out later. I start the game, and I am in version 1.07 so the patch did install.
--Next day I download the two DLC's and try to install them. Now it says "This version of the base game is not supported. Please update your game version with the latest patch."
--I read that if I wait, it will eventually install itself. But it does not even start the install. Once you accept the EULA, there is no install button so I think I could wait all year and nothing would happen.

Any ideas?
The update will only "eventually install itself" if you are using the Galaxy client & have Auto-Updating Enabled, you can check this by selecting The Witcher 3 in your Galaxy library clicking the "More" button & selecting "Configure"

You can also "Verify/Repair" your game using the Galaxy client by clicking "More" & then "Manage"

The problem you have with the DLC could be caused by a lot of different things the first thing i would do to try & fix this is reinstall the game & the all the DLC

Took your advice. Moved my saves. Wiped everything. Redownloaded everything. Reinstalled everything. Moved saves back. Took 4 hours but it worked!! Pain in the butt, but effective.

Edit: I guess I should have made this into a question to add your response as a solution. But upvoted you. :)
