Hi there,

I already own the base game + all expansions + all DLC on GOG. However, to have it all wrapped up in a single installer would be useful. Is it possible that if we already own all the content we could get The Witcher 3 GOTY for free or a vastly discounted price?

Many thanks!

me too!
yes, we need to upgrade our witcher 3 + all dlc to complete edition, that would be great!
+1. It would be nice to show their appreciation to us as we had for them. At least a discounted price would do :)
+1 , I like to have just 1 installer for all , for convenience, because of so much work to install/patch, I use Galaxy now...but from what I read, they didn't planned that...
They did this for the other two games, right? No doubt they will go it again.

Well, if you use the GOG downloader links from your account page, you will get
- a few exe's, neatly numbered
- some archives that only the exe's will use to install things right.

So, if you put all of these files (12, including all DLC's) into one folder it will be a matter of a few clicks to install W3.
Not enough?
Why?
I second the motion. We own everything there is to own (many of us do from before day one) It's just a matter of comfort.

There's already a single installer - GOG Galaxy. You just click install and the installation of the game and the DLCs is unattended after that. There's no way to make that simpler. If you object to Gog Galaxy for some weird reason, you can safely remove it after the installation is complete.
I am here looking for the same thing, I would prefer, for convenience to have the entire DRM free in one install file instead of having to install a number of patches and DLC's. Thanks for your consideration and i'm pretty sure Gog will do the right thing.

Well, for one, I got the errors on the main program patch for 1.30. I decided to do it clean, deinstalled everything...

1). install main program (1.10)
2). Run patch 1.10->1.22
3). install Free DLC (1.22)
4). install Hearts of Stone (1.22)
5). install Blood and Wine (1.22)
6). Run Ansel patch 1.22->1.24
7). Run main program patch 1.24->1.30, and hope you don't get the incompat version errors again
8). Run Hearts of Stone patch 1.22->1.30
9). Run Blood and Wine patch 1.22->1.30

Getting all of this converted to GOTY would be much much much much easier.

Oh, and I am about a third into step 5 above. If step 7 produces the same error, CDPR is going to get a very nasty forum post at the Witcher 3 official forum from me.

Anyone else get this error when patching the main program (the reason for the reinstall here)?

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt patch log
Incorrect version of: G:\GOG Games\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\\content\content0\bundles\r4gui.bundle
Incorrect version of: G:\GOG Games\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\\content\content4\bundles\world_novigrad_startup.bundle
Incorrect version of: G:\GOG Games\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\\content\metadata.store
Incorrect version of: G:\GOG Games\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\\content\patch1\texture.cache
okay, the method i outlined did not work. all three 1.30 patches for the add-ons (free dlc, hos, and baw) now say incorrect version and won't even try to apply the patch.

i found this in a different thread:

Base game (1.10)
Base game patch 1.10 > 1.22
Base game patch 1.22 > 1.24
Base game patch 1.24 > 1.30

Free DLC 16 pack 1.22
Free DLC patch 1,22 > 1,30

Hearts of Stone 1.22
Hearts of Stone 1.22 > 1.30

Blood and Wine 1.22
Blood and Wine 1.22 > 1.30

so, it looks like i won't have to reinstall or repatch the base game, just the dlc. i'll post again if this works.
