The quest seems to be stuck on the last step where you wait for the guy to make your new sword for you. My objective just says wait until later then go see what sword he has for you but no matter how long i wait no marker ever shows up. Any suggestions?

p.s. im already post endgame and have no way to go to a earlier save

Did you try ask Hatori if the sword is ready?

I just finished it with no problem. Just go to him and ask.

I wouldn't worry too much about it... as the others here have suggested - just go back to him and start a conversation.

You're not missing much, anyway - that "AMAZING" sword he makes for you is not nearly as good as the one you are presently using. You can still use him as a Master Craftsman, no matter if he gives you the sword or not.

But yes, don't expect too much from the sword... sadly it's not that useful.

There is no marker or notification to let you know the sword is ready. Just go back to Hattori after a few days and talk to him.
