First time I ordered the game for PC the 4th DVD didn't work, returned it, bought a new copy, again the 4th DVD didn't work. I then decided to redeem the GOG code and see if I could download the missing files from the GOG site, which isn't possible. I canceled the installation, then downloaded all the files from the GOG site and tried to install, which didn't work. Then I tried to download it via GOG Galaxy, and guess what, got stuck at 99.2%, restarted, back to 74%, went all the way up to 99.5%, restarted again, back to 66.7% and went up to 99.8% where I'm stuck again.

Getting really fed up with this.

You can simply try downloading the whole thing through the website with the GoG downloader, along with the patches, and simply install it manually.

what exactly did not work? sorry all our telepaths are offline now, so little more info is needed.
I installed game by downloading it from website using browser, had no problems.

Did you install all the patches?

The installation did not work, as in error message 5 minutes into installing.

also delete all your unsuccessfull installs, just in case..

Something might be wrong with your computer. Assuming that it's fine could be a mistake. Multiple DVD copies didn't work. Multiple downloads didn't work. Something is introducing corruption no matter what you try.

I suggest running full diagnostics on your computer. Download Memtest86+ and put it on a flash drive or CD to boot it up with and test.

Run a diagnostic on your hard drive, etc.

If its an OEM computer, it might already have diagnostic software pre-installed that might help.

there was a problem with some dvds - the installer couldnt find archives on discs because they had wrond name - you just had to copy them all from disks in one folder and rename, solution was on forums in the release day.
Maybe he had same problem, but its hard to guess - because ha provides almost no information.

Definitely wasn't the PC, 7th time downloading the files finally worked. That wasn't the problem, couldn't even read the 4th disk.

Found out there's an option to verify the files in the installer, this showed all .bin files were corrupted, took me 7 times to get all the files fully functional.

Btw, I also contacted the company that sold me the game and they confirmed that there were a lot of problems regarding GoG.

Glad it works for you now.
The majority of problems was with Galaxy client, but thats still beta, maybe not the best time to introduce it to people )
