Hi all,

In Hearts of Stone, Scenes from a marriage, I am at the point where I am supposed to give Iris the cup/glass. I have 3 items, the flowers, the wedding veil and the glass.

I've looked at the walkthroughs and the glass is supposed to also be the cup. Anyway when I try to give her the glass Geralt says "That's probably not right". I've tried all 3 items and none of them works.

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

I think I recall there being two cups, maybe? One part of that quest, anyway, has two things that could belong, but the game only wants one. Can you do a quick search around the area to make sure you got everything? Wasn't there something on the back side of the fountain where they're standing?

Bleh, my memory is terrible. I'll load up a save and see if I can find the cup for you ;_;

EDIT: Man, I forgot how many manual saves I made playing that game. OK, the glass that she needs is on the fountain, very near where she's standing. If that's the glass you have - and if you've made sure that you're interacting with her right hand - then you should be able to put the glass in her hand and continue the scene. If that's what you've done, then, I dunno. Make sure you've killed the arachnomorph specters hiding in the bushes around that spot, maybe?

Thank you for your replies. I sometimes think that this game is a little temperamental. I went on to play Blood and Wine and then went back to my save at Scenes from a marriage and the game then accepted the glass (which it hadn't done previously). ???????????????????????

Anyway the problem solved itself.
