I found 24 Runes of one Kind in little size, but i could´t use them for creating middle size runes. They don´t appear on the crafting screen.



In my German language Game are some of the Captains in the harbor of Novigrad named as "Hauptmann", what ist wrong. The commander of a ship is named as "Kapitän" in german. If I remember right, the Captain in the Tavern at the Harbour (the one who brings you to Skellige) ist Named right.

Yep, crafting runes is totally fucked right now. I don't bother, I just buy all of the good ones in every shop I find them in, and I destroy the weapon/armor later on to get the runes back for my newer armor/weapon, it's less hassle than waiting for a patch that makes crafting work properly.

I've got like 33 lesser aard runes right now and go to someone who can craft the next higher aard and am told I don't have any lesser ard even though I have like 10 million of them. Obviously it wasn't something their developers used when playing themselves or it wouldn't be broken I think. :) Fortunately there are shit tonnes of vendors that have them if you always look and buy in bulk whenever they have 'em.

Hopefully they fix it in a future patch though anyway so it works for people.

It was an exaggeration but whether you have 33 or 10 million shouldn't make any difference for crafting the next higher rune stone that only needs 3 of them. Bottom line is that I have a relatively endless supply of lower level rune stones because I never use them anymore and you pick up shit tonnes of them in loot all the time so they just pile up, and with no way to do anything useful with them such as craft them into higher level rune stones as the game intended it to be they become useless and just weigh down Geralt.

In fact, next town I hit I'm going to sell all the useless runestones to free up more weight to carry useful stuff. I'm so deep into the game now that crafting rune stones is practically useless to me now anyway as I can just fast travel to the locations that sell them and buy everything they have in stock with my $60000. I can buy a house in Markarth or Riften with the money I have left over. ;)
