Boeriemore: After meeting up with Keira I discovered that Wandering in the Dark was the next quest and there was no way to retreat
even before entering the cave. First time round this was a real challenge as I ran out of spirits so was unable to meditate
during this lengthy quest. I imagine this quest will now be harder with Hearts of Stone installed.
I have very little equipment, hardly any oils or bombs and no decoctions and no coins so I went back to a previous save.
I then managed to enter Oxenfurt and Novigrad .without a pass picking up quests as I moved around.
So far all my quests and contracts have levels above my current level.
Alyosha: Whoops. Yeah, you're right - Wandering in the Dark hits below the belt if you don't have supplies. I don't know that it is any harder with Hearts of Stone installed. I wouldn't think so, but I didn't have the expansion installed when I did it, so I can't be sure.
Gosu Noob has a feature where you can sort quests. I tried sorting quests by level - there don't seem to be be too many between level 4 and 8, but it should give you a couple of options.

That site shows many quests at level 0 which I never heard of even during my first play through.
I wonder whether the levels shown have not increased with HOS.
