Hi, I have basically finished the normal game on 2nd easiest difficulty.

Being adventurous, I am trying to do a second run through using NG+ death march mode
I already have some of the best gears like aerondight and all witcher gears at grandmaster and my character is level 54.

I am using hybrid build with skills focus on signs (igni) and fast sword style.
I initially it would be easy as I have good items and fairly high level.
I am trying to avoid using any potions if at all possible.

Now the shocker is that my enemies are all l58-62 at white orchard. Is that normal at NG+ or is it scaled to my level?

Secondly, the wraith kills me in 3 quick swipes, drowners in 2 and warg in 2 strikes.
Is that normal? I am using testna mutna gear except for ofieri saber and aerondight.
I can imagine if I have such trouble with one wraith, I would be in a world of pain when encountering 3 or more.
That wraith took like 10 plus hits to kill.

Third, if I resort to decoction and alchemy route which many claimed is op, how easy is it for me to get the ingredients?
Must each ekimara decoction for example require a fresh ekimara kill?

Thanks in advance.

To me, White Orchard can be the most difficult part of the game. Especially after getting used to wading into a group of drowners and just mindlessly swiping around a bit to kill them all - without taking any damage. Now you're in NG+ on DM. Whoops - gotta change tactics.

And yes, it is normal - and yes - you WILL get used to treating all your enemies with a bit more respect.

You do not need additional Eki hides for the decoctions. Once you make it - it will refill the same as other potions and bombs.

Potions and oils are your friends in DM

Good luck
