Will this game have quadfire support or 4 way crossfire? if it already does will be it be better optimized?
I currently have 2 r9 295x2's and noticed major improvements with only 2 gpus, barely any noticeable improvements with 4 gpus. Quadfire is enabled in the AMD radeon settings.
With 1 gpu @ 1080p maxxed settings (only foilage visibility range set to HIGH)
45 fps average
With 2 gpus @ 1080p maxxed settings (only foilage visibility range set to HIGH)
70 fps average ***roughly 55% increase from 1 gpu***
With 4 gpus @ 1080p maxxed settings (only foilage visibility range set to HIGH)
80 fps average ***roughly 77% increase from 1 gpu, roughly 14% increase from 2 gpus***
I have confirmed this using MSI Afterburner and NZXT's CAM app.
Any help or information would be great!
Update: Disabled Gog Overlay and updated to 16.3 AMD drivers now witcher 3 runs on 4k with medium settings at 60 fps roughly. Still no improvments in performance after 2 gpus.
1080p maxxed settings (only foilage visibility range set to HIGH and overlay off)
1 gpu = 40 fps roughly
2 gpus = 70 fps roughly (75% increase from 1 gpu)

4k lowest settings (overlay off) AMD drivers 16.2.1

2 gpus = 60 (71.42% increase from 1 gpu)
4 gpus = 60 fps roughly (71.42% increase from 1 gpu, 0% increase from 2 gpus)
