i cant launch the game bc as soon as i hit the .exe it just gives me this error with weird string of gibberish following it.

only thing keeeping me, from turning this place into a car wash right now, is i cant connect to gog so im hoping when i can ill be able to verify the files and fix the issue.

By any chance are you using any mods, like the debug console enabler? I had the same issue, and after removing the mod files the game launched without any issues.

thanks for the reply, i believe i have the carryweight mod installed but i dont recall where or if i can uninstall it. i also see i have a reshade folder but i am positive i disabled that, still ill see if i can do anything on my end, thanks again

thank you! it at least seems i can launch now, reliably or not i dont know, after deleting dsound.dll...not even sure where that came from or what it did...

hopefully gog galaxy will be up soon and i can correct w/e else needs to placed/replaced/removed, but fingers crossed i think i can launch the game now. :)

It came from the Console Enabler mod. Until that mod is updated, you will get this error with it installed. Remove it and wait for an update to the mod.
