I'm at the location in Skellige where the Mastercrafted Griffin School Armor and Steel Sword diagrams should be located but I'm unable to interact with the chests that house the diagrams. I appear to have already grabbed the armor diagrams as they are in my crafting inventory, but I can't retrieve the steel sword diagram to complete the set.

Anyone ever else ever encounter this? Just wondering if there's any potential workaround other than backtracking and loading an earlier save. Way too many hours in for that.

If the pic you provided is right, then you are above the place where the diagram can be found (and some 1056 steps away).

You're in totally the wrong place. The mastercrafted Griffin steel sword diagram is out in the open, unguarded.

Was being thrown off by the fact that I already had the armor diagrams and the quest point was still active. Also watched a bad video that had the sword in the same location as the armor. Oh well, thanks guys.
