Yesterday I had a very strange bug with gog galaxy interface. Every time I loaded Witcher3 the interface would crash. The game played normally but the interface crashed with an error. I had to alt tab every time to close it. It just appeared from nowhere, nothing was changed in the system since the last time I had played.
So decided to troubleshoot the bug and headed into the Kaspersky antivirus settings. Because it looked like Kaspersky was blocking the program.
I added witcher3 game and gog galaxy client to the list of trusted applications, and I also noticed that the "Advanced Disinfection Technology" was enabled which is known to be quite resource hungry. So I disabled it.
Then I run the Witcher3 game and the gog galaxy didn't crash. Then I loaded the savegame with 120+ hours of gameplay on it and noticed that Geralt now gad a tattoo on his neck! lol
I imported the savegame from the witcher2 game initially, of course, and didn't have that tattoo on Geralt until I made changes to the antivirus settings.
That's the story.
Cool story, Bro.
If you are sure that was the reason for the tattoo to appear please send it as a bug report to CDPR, maybe this is the cause of other problems as well and they might find a solution for these problems when they know Kaspersky is causing them... or they can at least tell people to make the same settings you did in Kaspersky.
