Changes to this file (located in Documents\The Witcher 3) no longer seem to have any effect as of 1.07.

Does anyone know what is now being used for input?

My problem is...

I'm constantly calling the Roach during combat by double clicking the left stick accidentally. Prior to 1.07 I could edit the input.settings file to disable this action only when in combat.

Am I the only one with this problem?

I can't count how many times this has cost Geralt his life as he stands there going through the "whistle for Roach" animation as he's being repeatedly hit by opponents.

If anyone has any info, for the love of all that is holy, please help!

I may not have been clear... I play on PC with a 360 controller. I don't sit at a desk, I use a large HDTV.

I had this same exact problem with a PS2 game that I was playing a long time ago, I would reload in the middle of a bossfight and it was annoying as hell. I finally realized what was happening, and I just was more attentive to what I was doing. This is a self aware issue that only you can fix and it's not that simple to do either because you're so used to doing it

Don't take this the wrong way but having self control when it comes to using a controller it's the solution.

I appreciate the comment but I have a condition called 'essential tremor'. My hands, fingers, etc..., twitch sometimes. An issue with my brain falling into a loop and resending the same signal repeatedly.

Anyway, I can't stop it. I take a medication that helps some, but unfortunately there's no fix.

So if anyone can help, please do so! :)

Did you remove the IK_Pad_LeftThumb=(Action=SpawnHorse) under [Combat]
It did Work for me could not call the horse doing combat.

Thanks for responding.

Yeah, I tried that. It kept coming back. Worked fine before 1.07.

I just set the file to read only after removing the SpawnHorse under Combat and that seems to have worked.

Thanks.
