Just wonder if any of you encounter this issue:

I'd been playing 65 hours ++ and mostly enjoying the world with side quests and Witcher contracts. Recently I start focus on main quest, in the quest "Find Junior" which I need to talk to Roche after fighting Whoreson's hideout.

Problem is Roche doesn't want to talk to me, that's no interaction available for him. (PC version here).

This problem happen to some blacksmith before but I may solve it by meditate for few hour, the "E" will reappear when Geralt finished his meditation.

I had re-load my save game for few times but without success, what should I do now?

same problem here. He just stands by the fire with arms crossed, tried reloading saves, meditating, and fast traveling to Freyas garden and back, nothing helps.

I'm on 1.0.7 patch. Just did the "Find Junior" quest and met and talked to Roche twice (in 2 quest segments) and had no trouble either time. I'm now on my way to stop Ves, and I presume I'll be talking with Roche a third time later.
So far, so good.

Problem: Roche won't talk to you. This is a well-established bug. It was first reported on here. It was introduced by patch 1.07.

Solution: The only fix I am aware of is to load a savegame BEFORE you accept an Eye for an Eye quest. This should fix it.

Well thar sucks, I started the quest, then went to skellige, did the storyline there, then went on to do witcher contracts, exploring and treasurehunting, so reloading a save from before would set me back about 6-7 hours

But "Find Junior" is my very first quest which will speak to Roche, I have no other earlier quest involving him. (T.T)

Exact same problem here. In the 'Get Junior' quest, Roche just stands by his fire like a moron. Does nothing, can't interact with him. Haven't even seen 'Eye for an eye' quest...

Done all possible side quests and Witcher contracts. Suppose game ends here for me.

Contacted devs about the problem. They're wotking on it. Suppose that's all we get from them at the moment...

Also tried with a save that's pre-Get Junior, but no use. And my game counter stands at 150 hours+ so I am not intending to start over.

Real shame. Was great game up to this point. Guess I'll have to put it aside for a while.

Eep. First I heard that starting before Eye for an Eye doesn't work.

Did you all have any mods installed? Did you try doing a verify/repair?

Edit: Why not soliciting a savegame where the quest isn't broken? Shame to walk away from the game at that point.

I have no mods installed and have tried reinstalling latest patch and tried the repair option as well. No use.

What do you mean by soliciting a savegame? Wouldn't that mean that I continue with a save from someone else and thus continue with an entirely different Geralt? Ergo the immersion is lost?

Ideally, you would list your choices and find someone who did mostly the stuff you did. Yes, I think it would hurt the immersion somewhat. Here are some save games posted online in case you plan to go that route.

Thanks for the effort, but continuing from someone else's save would feel like cheating on my original Geralt, if that makes any sense.
I'll just wait and play Starcraft's two first campaigns again in preparation for Legacy of the Void I guess. Might add that Blizzard is probably the only gaming company that hasn't disapponted me in all my gaming years...
Let's just hope they do fix this eventually...

So now I may continue questing around...

Might add that 'Working on it' doesn't mean the same as 'fixing it'. Maybe the problem is so elaborate they can't find a solution for it?
