so my laptop is a ASUS ZenBook (windows 8.1) with intel core M-5Y71, 4GB RAM,256GB and when ever i try to play my game, the shit lags like crazy and i even tried the recommended settings from others. plus when i try to move around, after like 5 steps, the game crashes and i am forced to restart my computer. can someone atleast help me out here

P.S i bought this laptop in august

Depending on what you have written your laptop isn't the best to play Wirtcher 3.

Minimum system requirements - Windows:
OS: 64-bit Windows 7 or 64-bit Windows 8 (8.1)
Processor: Intel CPU Core i5-2500K 3.3 GHz or AMD CPU Phenom II X4 940
Memory: 6 GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GPU GeForce GTX 660 / AMD GPU Radeon HD 7870
Hard Drive: 35 GB of available space
DirectX: 11

Your Intel core M-5Y71 is lacking power and you have to less memory. Even if you will get it working (with a lot of tweaking) it won't be fun to play.

In short: Yes. You shouldn't have bought this laptop if you wanted to play high-end-graphic games like Witcher 3.
