OK, so I'm not sure if my game is bugged or not, but with my auto-sheath of sword seems to not be working.

The new manual sword sheath option works as intended, with Geralt not pulling out his sword when near monsters, requiring manual unsheathing/sheathing, but with the option set to 'off' he still unsheathes the correct sword when an enemy/monster is near but after combat doesn't re-sheath it (I have to manually re-sheath it in all cases).

I've gone back to my vanilla playthrough saves and it's the same on all of them too now (this is my NG+ playthrough I've just started): I'm sure he used to re-sheath his sword after combat... my question GOG brothers and sisters, does your Geralt re-sheath his sword after combat if you have manual sheath set to 'off'? Or is this working as intended, with only unsheathing being auto now.

Interesting, I wonder if this is how auto sheath works now since all that uproar on Geralt sheathing his sword mid-combat a while back?

It feels too 'intended' to be a bug, and the fact my old save files do it too makes me think it was part of a patch... or we are just both bugged :P lol.

Be interesting to see if this is the case with all players now with patch 1.21, hoping it's as intended: it kind of makes sense in a way (although I did like the finality of him sheathing the sword pre 1.21).

Mine is fixed now, did a verify of the game install then rebooted the computer and viola, seems to be going again now: there is the odd time when it doesn't resheath, but that's when there's near by enemies it seems.
