Maybe a thread to be potentially stickied?

Where everyone could basically ask whether could get the game to run how they want it to look with their current configuration.

I'll go first.

Would I be able to run Witcher 3, the current version, at the least 60 fps at 1080p on Ultra with Hairworks on and everything else on?

My current configuration is:

[CPU]
Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor

[Motherboard]
ASRock Z97M-ITX/AC Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard

[Memory]
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

[Video Card]
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 6GB Mini ITX OC Video Card

[Operating System]
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 OEM 64-bit

I've heard around the 'net that the CPU really gets used while going through Novigrad or something and the GPU through the forests.

I would say yes to 60fps @ 1080p at high/ultra settings, with the exception of hairworks. Not sure what affect hairworks would have.

Thank you for the prompt reply. Appreciate it. I was wondering what I would need to upgrade to keep everything on including Hairworks.

Bumping this. I'm still trying to figure out what exactly I would need to play at 1080p60 while keeping everything on. I'm aiming for 60fps minimal.

Actually, you will need a 32 core processor clocked at 10.0Ghz and a Tri-SLI Titan X video card setup to run The Witcher 3 at all. I am just kidding.

Your computer will run the game just fine, but I would reccommend setting the game's visual settings to high for a consistent 60 FPS. There is no difference in high visual quality setting versus the ultra setting for the game. I hope this advice helps.

Nice one. Haha. This helps but I've read in so many places that in order to get 60 fps constantly, you have to have more gpu or cpu or even both. I think my cpu would be fine but I've heard that my graphics card needs an upgrade. I just want to know what upgrade I need.
