Anyone else have this?
I'm getting the same thing. Some contracts and looted pages I find are in Polish. I haven't seen any "PL DEBUG" text yet but (PL) and then all the text in Polish.
Yes, I've had that as well - but the quest will show up in my English game in the quest list, as normal

I also have this. It is the quest-giving notice for the "til death do you part" quest I did not pick up the motice until after having completed the quest; I don't know if that was related to it being in polish. If you have this bug, you can start the quest by going up the stairs in the Cognac shop and meeting with Charles Lanzano.
I have quite a few of those [PL] books, notes etc..

they are forcing us to learn polish! :P

not had any affect on my game tbh
yeah I had this bug to in Till Death Do You Part

Here's a solution from the Witcher forums.

By "mwnn":

Are you using the offline GoG installers? i.e. patch_witcher3_1.10-1.21.0_2.0.0.44.exe

There's meant to be an issue with the GoG offline installers containing some files which are no longer needed and aren't found in GALAXY or STEAM installs; so the bug doesn't happen with those.

The xx.w3strings files seem to be the cause of the general skills names/descriptions being scrambled - there's one for each language.

There's a newer copy of those files in \patch1.

Try removing [this file] from the PATCH0 folder:

\content\patch0\en.w3strings

(...)

Should fix the issue.
Works for your problem as well.

If you play in any other language and experience these kind of problems remove the respective file (pl.w3strings, de.w3strings etc. from the patch0 folder)

It seems that there is something wrong with the GOG offline installer.

Dear GOG Team! If it's true then please fix the patch 1.21 offline installer.

I'll give you one better. I actally have Polish language pack installed and when I play in Polish some of the quests, items and other messages in Blood and Wine have texts in English. Everything else is in Polish but those few things (mostly contracts) read something like "[DEBUG] troll killed my wife, need a witcher". Better yet, you can find an island with five stones on which there are written down the knight's five virtues. On two of them there is text that litterally reads something like "A short poem about honor/streangth", where on other stones there are actual poems written down.

Same thing here. I saw someone say that a reinstall fixed it, but I already JUST did a clean install of the game and am getting this problem. Considering it takes almost an hour to install everything, I'm not going to be trying that again.

There are new installers up now, just one installer for main game and 1 installer for each dlc, before there was loads of installers, try the new installers, as surely this must have been fixed with them.
