Since starting the game after updating to Blood and wine the CAT potion is missing in the alchemy section. Same for "Superior Cat" and "Improved cat" , So I no longer have any chance to make a cat potion.

Was there a change with the update?

Wondering if you found a solution to this. I just started playing again (since the B&W expansion) and no cat potions as well.

I have not heard of this bug, so I am assuming something is wrong with your game files.

Try the "classic" solution:

If you are playing on GOG Galaxy go to: More --> Manage installation --> Verify / Repair.

If you have downloaded the game manually you will need to download it again and reinstall (you can save your saved games).

See if this doesn't bring the potion back. Also, before doing anything, make sure that the potion isn't just in your inventory for some odd reason (maybe you brewed it already, but forgot etc.). If none of this helps make sure to report the bug.

There's a filter option. Open the Alchemy-screen, press "F" and activate all. What happens?

Well as it turns out, I'm an idiot. I finished playing the game prior to the expansions and just recently decided to get back into it and play the expansions. The UI has changed so much, I didn't see that I had the Cat potion assigned to Geralt's waist. Derp.
