Not much to say other than a warning to anyone else who might trust Walmart.
Preordered the collectors edition back in January and even kept getting reminder emails that they had my order and everything was fine. Of course it wasn't fine. Yesterday, I assume others got this email too:
"Thank you for your recent Walmart.com order. Unfortunately, we have had to cancel your order as we did not receive the expected merchandise from our supplier. Walmart takes great pride in ensuring the satisfaction of our customers and I know we fell short with this issue. We will be sending you a separate email within the next 5 business days with a $10 electronic gift card (per customer) to use on any future purchase. I do hope you’ll give us another chance to earn back your business."
Not exactly overwhelmed with their generosity about it. My own suspicions are also less a supplier failure and more that they oversold their stock. Maybe an ungenerous opinion on my own part but somehow this just doesn't feel surprising coming from Walmart.
