Alright. Ive downloaded this game which is like 14 GB around 3 times now and every goddamn time I run into the same error.
It goes 4 steps into installation before it fails with the error
"An error occured while trying to copy a file: ...\CookedPC\en0.w2speech"
and something about a E/A error.
Can any of you guys help me out ? I bought this and couldnt play a single second so far...

This problem has apparently never happened to anyone else; if I search Google for it, this is the only thread that pops up. What version do you have? GOG? Steam? How much space do you have on your hard drive?

Do you use a firewall or antivirus? I suppose it's possible that one of those is screwing up part of the download, but I've never, ever even heard of an E/A error. What exactly does it say? "Something about" isn't specific enough, since this is apparently a very rare error.

Since this seems rare and probably requires someone very familiar with those kinds of things, you're best off asking in the Tech Support section of the official forums.

E/A error is the german abbreviation for Eingabe/Ausgabefehler, translated Input/Output error (I/O error). So I'd say there could be something wrong with the hard disk(s) involved. You should check them.

Or in plain german: E/A Fehler heisst Eingabe/Ausgabefehler, deutet in diesem Fall vielleicht auf einen Hardwarefehler an einer der beteiligten Festplatten oder am Controller hin. Prüf am Besten mal zur Sicherheit deine Festplatten mit einem entsprechenden Tool falls Dir der GOG Support das nicht eh schon geraten hat.
