Hi,

I've seen many people having this problem, but no fixes I was able to found fixed it for me.

When I run game through launcher/witcher 2.exe it starts displaying intro, and after that it just get's back to my desktop without any error message.

I run Windows 10 Home 64 bit (10.0, compilation 18363), my configuration is:
- processor Inter (r) Core (TM) i5-6600K CPU @ 3.50Ghz (4CPUs), ~3.5GHz
- memory: 16384 MB Ram
- graphic card: NVidia GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB

I already tried following fixes:
- running game through Witcher2.exe bypassing the launcher
- reinstalled game - both version installed from game dvd's, and GOG version have same issue
- rebooting my computer after installing the game
- changed graphic settings to lowest
- changed aspect ratio
- turn on and turned off vertical sync
- run on Windows 8, 7 and Vista compatibility mode
- run with Administrator setting
- set full accessibility to admin, user, any account used on my computer
- checked if it is not blocked by firewall - it is not
- checked for updates for all my drivers and direct x
- installed all the updates for the game (when installed from DVD's, GOG version is up to date after installing)

I think that's all I did so far, though it is possible I missed something
